Testing to see what happens when another post is added. The site seems to be coming together and actually looking like a normal blog site. Still working on the RSS feeds, especially that for the podcast. I’m not sure why, but the feed icon won’t appear in the address bar of the browser, the way it does by default.
The front page is nearly done, minus a few dodgy links, but the other pages are far from complete. I suppose that is my next challenge. I have to say that WordPress is very nice for using themes and other ‘canned’ templates, which would make it nice for non-designers, but it is Hell for creating a custom template. However, WordPress is much easier to install than Movable Type, which requires me to know a certain amount about cgi and Perl, which I didn’t at the time of first install for that.
