Hollywood these days relies solely on comic books and cheesey sequels to draw audiences. More often than not, they fail to entertain. So I rely on sleep for my amusement. But like a staggering amount of adults, my sleep sucks lately and I find myself eternally tired.
A brilliant, and lengthy article from Ririan Project gives tips on how to improve the quality or your night’s sleep, if not the quantity. The article is packed with sciencey stuff like this:
A study completed this spring by Washington State University Spokane suggests that our sleep patterns are embedded in our bodies — perhaps in our very genes.
Certainly worth a bit of self-experimenting — the only thing we have to lose is our shitty half-sleeps and those groggy morning subway rides. Good riddance to those.
